My professional activities currently concentrate on scientific research in the areas of Artificial Life and Complex Adaptive Systems. I am also interested in Software Systems Engineering. I have published a number of papers in these areas.

Previously, I worked in the IT industry as a software engineer and business consultant.

Presently I am working on my PhD degree, and if all goes to plan, I will be Doctor in 2010. In addition, I am working as a freelance consultant and software developer for a number of clients in Australia and in Germany. When I get some spare time, I contribute to a few open source projects.
