The emphasis in my professional comitments lies on scientific work and research in the areas of Artificial Life and Complex Adaptive Systems. I am also interested in Software Systems Engineering. I have published several papers in these areas.

I have spent several years working in IT industry as a software engineer and business consultant.

Currently, I am working on my PhD degree, and if all goes to plan I will be Doctor in 2009. In addition, I am working as a freelance consultant and software developer for a number of clients in Australia and Germany. I am also supporting some of my previous clients in the UK. When I get some spare time, I contribute to a number of open source projects.
