Hurrah!

Stacy & Greg got married!

And they want to mark this joyful moment by celebrating with YOU.

Theme:

We want to keep things simple and spend more time having fun with friends and less time organising.

So: there will be no formal function, no sit-down dinner and no traditional reception.

Instead, there will be just a party.
An almost normal party...

To celebrate a prince and a princess finding together we are having a theme party with the topic "fantasy / fairy tale".

Instead of formal dress you are required to come as your favourite (or less) fantasy or fairy tale character.
Except: No princesses and princes and no queens or kings. There can be only one (of each) and guess who will that be!

Costumes are required:

You do not go to a traditional wedding reception wearing a singlet, do you? You wear formal dress.
So please respect the theme and come dressed in a fantasy costume as described above.
Don't worry – you can reuse it for Halloween in just a few weeks. :)

Time & Location:

The party will be on Sat, the 8th of October 2011, at The Living Room Bar in Seattle, Capitol Hill.
(1355 E. Olive Way; See map).
We will start at 7:30pm on the upper level. From 10pm the bar is reserved for us exclusively.
We will pre-order some finger food to make sure no one stays hungry, and drinks will be available at the bar.
After 2am we can continue celebrating at our house, which is only a 10 min walk away.

Presents:

You do not have to give us presents. Really. Just come and have a good time with us.
However, experience shows that some of you will not accept this. So, if you really would like to give us something, we would be very grateful for any contributions towards buying a nice new flat screen TV. You can give us a cheque or cash, or ask Greg for his PayPal details.

Bringing friends:

Please do! We have not invited people according to some elaborated formula. Instead, we just want to have a good time with as many folks as possible.
If you know us and you are not invited, it is probably just an oversight. Come and bring your partners / friends / visitors / stalkers / bodyguards / ...

People from overseas:

We realise that we invited lots or folks from overseas. I know that most of you will not be able to come. But still, maybe some of you happen to be in the neighbourhood by a lucky coincidence.
