PhD doctorate

I am currently working towards a Doctor of Philosophy degree at the Clayton School of Computer Science and Software Engineering of Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. I have commenced the degree in May 2006 and I am expecting to complete in 2009 - that is if everything goes to plan. The details of my PhD degree can be found here.

Undergraduate university studies

I took courses towards a Magister of Philosophy Degree at the University of Hamburg (Germany) in 2000, but I quit the degree in order to go to London and study computer science at the University College London. At a latter stage I took another course at the University of Hamburg: the unit "Advanced 3D Graphics" is an elective on the advanced studies curriculum of the Informatics degree at that university.

My actual undergraduate degree was computer science at UCL.
I have graduated in 2004 with a 1st Class Honours Master of Science degree.

School

I have obtained my "Abitur" (the Germal higher education entrance qualification, like English "A-Levels") from the Gymnasium Tonndorf, Hamburg, Germany in 1999. I graduated as best of class.
